Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. I John 4:7, 8
The Christian faith is more than a repaired relationship with God. It is also a repaired relationship with the creation, ourselves and others. Membership in the Holy Christian Church is belonging to a family.
In this family we are cared for, encouraged, and even corrected. The Holy Christian Church and especially the Christian Congregation is how God provides us with the most basic of human needs, love.
Through our G.R.A.C.E. Connections people come together in groups of four to twelve and are intentionally led to share God’s grace, live His Word and make disciples. G.R.A.C.E. Connections Grow by reaching out though witnessing, Relate by connecting to the Body of Christ, Act in Christian service and mission, Care for their members and the world through prayer and are Enriched in personal growth and spiritual transformation though the study of God’s Word.
G.R.A.C.E. Connections are not a program of our congregation; they are its mission and means for living out Acts 1:8 - You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
Our congregation also cares through Stephen Ministers. Stephen Ministers are members of our congregation who receive special training to provide one-on-one Christian care to people in our congregation and community who are experiencing grief, loneliness, divorce, hospitalization, disability, job loss, and other dramatic life changes.
